Second Half Of The Season

Second half of the season starts with me being speaker on Saturday the 10th of august at the new race Run OCR in Karlshamn Sweden. I´m driving up on Friday and will be test running the 5 km and 25 obstacles with some awesome people behind the race. It´s always good to run the race before working as a speaker (MC) so you know what the guys have to do in real life, and not just on paper. The Race has both Elite Class Men, Teams, Run for fun and kids. Ill be speaking at more races this second half of the season such as Reborn Lederborg, Reborn Prison Escape and Toughest Family Copenhagen.

World Toughest Mudder 2018

Time flies and today its 2 weeks after I got home from Atlanta and my second World Toughest Mudder. And now it’s time to sum the experience up. And indeed it was a whole other experience from last year’s WTM in Las Vegas.

2018 update towards season start

Started January op with almost 40 degrees fever the first week! So I started on my new running program towards CPH Marathon the 13th of May. Summary of running in January was my far best ever as an amputee when I look at distance in training. But again in week 3 I caught a cold that sucked out all my energy! I always say that a cold is not being sick, but this time I have to say that I had to take a 1,5 weeks break from running. But the charm of running in the woods in the dark is that you are all alone with the nature. The charm was not so grateful when I had a close encounter with a wild boar in the dark! But the positive effect on that was I ran much quicker on the way back to my car. January was also a month I can call me Toughest Certified Trainer after completing this OCR instructor education. This is my second OCR Coach education and it gives me a lot in my own training and in the way I pass on knowledge to the people I coach. I’m tiring the last nuts in what races I’ll be running this year and renewing with my partners in crime. And I’m also looking at some new interesting possibilities for races in 2018. The races bookd is Tough Viking Gothenburg, Toughest Malmö, Copenhagen Marathon, Toughest Stockholm, European OCR Championships, Toughest Copenhagen and World Toughest Mudder and more to come. Soon The Rebook Crossfit Open is upon me, I signed up and will be ready once again this year to challenge my crossfit abilities. I don’t feel in the same shape for crossfit this year as I did last year but ill give it a go anyway. Stay tuned for more frequently updates.

Merry Christmas And Copenhagen Marathon

Almost Christmas and next year’s plans are so exciting! I have revealed one on social media yesterday. In cooperation with Fundracer´s I will run Copenhagen Marathon the 13th of May to collect money for the child cancer foundation in Denmark. I’m horned to get to participate in this and do a difference in this great cause, and this will be a big challenge for me! I’ve never thought that I should/would run a marathon, because of the pressure on my stump and the hard effort! I actually thought that it was the half distance I signed up for, but to my surprise it was the 42km instead! But I’m not backing down for this challenge and the chance to do a difference. I will start up a new 18 weeks running program in week 2 to get ready for this big event. At the moment I’m still resting and recovering from World Toughest Mudder in Vegas in November. Merry Christmas and I hope you will donate something for this great cause in this link bellow. Link to the collection will go directly to the cancer foundation.
